NEWS FROM KAZ FROM OZKaz has got a job as a Branch Liaison for Holmes Colleges in Melbourne. The college is private and provides diplomas and bachelor degrees for international students, so Kaz’s experience with MN really helps. She is looking forward to the role but knows that it will be a steep learning curve, so can imagine being very busy for the next couple of months. She will keep us in touch.

ICT AWARDS
We would like to encourage MirandaNet members to nominate colleagues for this award.
Do you know of someone who has provided an example of excellence in using computers and the internet for teaching purposes or management?
Nominations are now open for the 2004 ICT in Practice Awards, hosted by the British Educational Communications and Technology Agency (Becta).
The closing date for nominations is 25 July 2003. Each award winner will receive £2,500, with an additional £2,500 going to their school or college. Send an e-mail to:

The Learning Centre's Dulce Et Decorum Est audio project is in the final in this years "Spotlight on Success" Award.
