DfES Roadshows and E-Learning
E-learning is now an important government initiative. The MirandaNet Fellowship was chosen to present sessions on e-learning in the DfES Roadshows that were held in partnership with the Broadband consortia in the Midlands, the South West and in Cumbria. The dates of these roadshows were as follows:
- 1st May, 2002: East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham
- 9th May, 2002: Hilton Hotel, Swindon
- 17th May, 2002: Gujarat Training Centre, Preston
There were two parallel workshop sessions, each repeated, covering practical and technical aspects of e-learning.
In addition, MirandaNet has been commissioned to publish a wide variety of materials on e-learning including on-line references. These materials, along with information about our presentations, are available on our new E-learning Project website. This new site has its own powerful search engine, which gives more detail than is possible with the main MirandaNet search engine. There are also links for you to make further suggestions and send us additional materials for this new resource.
