Ireland: Our school's proper name is Scoil Naomh Abban which means St Abban's School but we just call it Newtown N.S. Is in County Laois, the nearest towns are Carlow and Castlecomer. There are 62 pupils in Newtown and three classrooms. The teachers are Mr Threadgold (principal, 5th + 6th classes), Ms Corrigan (2nd, 3rd, 4th) and Ms Mullins (Junior infants, Senior. Infants, 1st class).

Beside our school there is a hall that's where we do Irish dancing and plays. From September to before Easter we do Irish dancing on Wednesdays. Then after Easter we do swimming on Tuesdays for one hour. Every year we go on a school tour and we have great fun.

Portugal: Our school is "S. Mamede" in Évora and it has a big playground. Évora is a very old and beautiful World Heritage Town with lots of mountains in the Alto Alentejo region. Rossio Square is a large square in Évora where markets and fun fairs take place. On the second Sunday of every month there is a street market where old things are sold.

In our school the classes involved in the project were: 2nd level, 3rd level (classroom number 2) in the afternoon, 4th level (classroom number 5) and Classroom 7 in the afternoon. Our teachers are: António Pereira, António Oliveira, Rosa and Fátima.

Spain: Our school Colegio Público San Jóse is in Guadajira, in the Badajoz provice. It is very small so only four teachers work here. Luis is the head teacher and works with children form the 1st and 2nd level. M. Carmen is in charge of the youngest children (nursery), they are three, four and five years old and share the same classroom.

Lucía works with the 5th and 6th level, they are our oldest children (between 10 and 11).Carry is in charge of the 3rd and 4th levels, she also teaches English to all the other pupils at school.

Guadajira is an agricultural village and it is near two rivers : the Guadajira and the Guadiana.

United Kingdom: Our school is Bowbridge Primary School. It is in an area of England where there is a focus on 'Community Regeneration'. There are about 32 children in each class. There are two year 6 classes. These children are aged between 10 and 11 years old. These are the children who took part in the project although children aged 8 to 11 years old use the laptops and wireless network. The laptops have been used to help parents and grandparents in the community to develop new skills and we are very proud of all their achievements. The community is very important to Bowbridge Primary School.
