As an IT professional Geoffrey has supported the use of ICT in the academic sector for over twenty years. He has been associated with MirandaNet since its inception in 1992 and was awarded a MirandaNet Fellowship for his focus on international school project exchanges in North America and China.

His IT career began in 1983 with Digital Equipment Company (DEC) followed by Uniplex and Data General in a variety of international roles covering marketing, consultancy, strategic account management and business management. In his present position as Automation Director for Oracle Corporation he designs business intelligence solutions and manages global virtual development teams to deliver Java/SQL/Analytics based projects worldwide.

In addition to his project activity he is responsible for creating multi-level end-user/technical training materials and is in constant demand to deliver the associated training courses across all geographies.Geoffrey also has specific skills in user interface design, structured data interchange and solution delivery within international contexts.

Complementing his commercial activity Geoffrey is a Freeman of the City of London, an enthusiastic Rotarian and has enjoyed producing a variety of articles for public sector, craft and educational publications.
