MirandaNet is committed to protecting your privacy online. We will treat any personal information (which means data from which you can be identified, including your name, address, email address and school or position) that you provide to us, or that we obtain from you, in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act of 1998.

Your personal information can only be accessed by you and by Christina Preston and members of her management team. It is held online for the convenience of all members – to facilitate updates and to make it easier to create personal profiles. We will not provide information to any third parties without your permission unless we are required by law to do so.

We may also, from time to time, ask you for additional information so that we can improve MirandaNet’s service to you or make your visits to the site more rewarding. There will be no obligation on you to provide this information.

We do not use 'cookies', or other forms of information software, to obtain information from visitors to the site. Cookies are however used on the Forums to record user preferences and other settings and to make logging in easier. The site functions perfectly well if cookies are diasabled. Cookies are also used when members log in to hold their log in status. Again, no personal information is held in these cookies, and the cookies are disabled either when closing the browser, or after three hours, whichever comes first.
