History
- School History a site run by a teacher, with useful annotated links, resources and worksheets, as well as on line games and quizzes. Includes a section for primary schools, though the author's main interest is secondary.
- The Public Record Office has some excellent resources in their snapshots section that can be used in the classroom. Recently they have launched a huge resource for schools called The National Archives Learning Curve. Sections cover The Cold War, The Home Front, The First World War, Victorians, 20th Century heroes and villains, and Power, Politics and Protest. An excellent resource with source materials, timelines, interactive diary, worksheets and lots more.
- Burntcakes.com is a site dedicated to better history teaching and learning. The Resources area contains an ever-growing selection of teaching and learning resources. Some are freely downloadable, others can be bought. wwww.burntcakes.com
