Resources - ButterflyThe link between the MirandaNet Fellowship and Macedonia was established through a visit to the UK by a joint group of educators from Bitola and Skopje Universities. As part of their fact-finding visit, organised by the London International Study Centre, they spent a day at the south London school of Lawrence Williams, MirandaNet Fellow, where they learned about the use of ICT across the curriculum, assessment procedures, and the school’s world-renowned NASA STAR Project.

On their return home, they kindly invited Lawrence to visit Macedonia, in order to develop ideas and further educational links with the United Kingdom. A visit to Bitola and Skopje by Lawrence and Susan Williams was agreed, and took place during the week of 8th to 13th April 2006.
