Applying these international links to the GCSE Vocational ICT Course

One section in the GCSE Applied ICT course is aimed at exploring how an adult at work is affected by using ICT. Pupils on the course usually interview someone about their use of ICT at work, socially and personally. The Links with China work on MirandaNet could be useful for two organizations, in different countries, to arrange interviews with their counterparts about the way ICT has changed the way they work, how it influences their work style, and how it impacts on their social and personal life, with all the associated advantages and disadvantages.

A record of these interviews might make a good basis for pupils studying Unit 3b in applied GCSE.

The questionnaire below was devised by Dr. Richard Hartley, and is used with his kind permission.
